CargoFit v0.15.0
Container and truck load planning

11 europallets per tier of a 20-foot container

Loading by eye gets you nine. CargoFit computes the layout to industry norms in a fraction of a second, shows it in 3D and hands you the loading plan as a document — stacking order, tiers and the coordinates of every item.

What a logistician gets

Not a picture — a document people load by

A calculation is useless if you cannot hand it to the warehouse. CargoFit finishes not with a 3D scene but with a loading plan and a file that opens in Excel.

01

Loading plan as a document

Stacking order, tier number and coordinates for every item. Prints as an inventory and goes to the warehouse without being explained by word of mouth.

02

Several containers at once

A shipment is spread across several units in one plan. Whatever does not fit comes back as its own list, not as silently dropped rows.

03

Excel in and Excel out

Import your item list from XLSX and CSV with automatic column detection; export the plan and inventory back to XLSX, CSV and JSON.

04

Nested tires

Tires nest inside one another by rim diameter — the way they are actually loaded. A dedicated calculation, not an approximation with boxes.

05

Load control

Checks payload limits, weight distribution along length and width (the 60/40 rule) and stacking rules — with warnings before dispatch.

06

Data never leaves the computer

A desktop application: the calculation runs locally, projects sit in .cargo files on your machine. The internet is needed only for the licence check.

Equipment catalogue

Seven unit types with internal dimensions

Dimensions follow ISO 668; for reefers the insulation and evaporator are accounted for, which is why the internal volume is noticeably smaller than a dry container of the same class.

Internal dimensions in metres. Maximum payload excludes the weight of the unit itself.

How it works

Three steps from an item list to a loading plan

1

Enter the cargo

By hand, from a template or imported from Excel. Dimensions, weight, quantity, permitted load on top, no-tilt flag.

2

Calculate

The calculation runs on a background thread: progress is visible and can be cancelled. The interface stays responsive even with hundreds of items.

3

Take the plan

Check the stowage in 3D, review the weight warnings and export the loading plan and inventory to XLSX or CSV.

Under the hood. A greedy algorithm over extreme points, strip layouts of a tier for pallets and local search to improve the solution. Collisions, support underneath, stacking rules and weight distribution are all checked, with an eye on ISO 1496-1 and the CTU Code. The calculation is deterministic: the same input yields the same plan, and it can be repeated for verification.

Questions

What people ask before buying

Is a permanent internet connection required?

No. The internet is needed on first launch — to grant the trial — and when activating a licence. After that the application calculates offline: taking the licence server down does not block the work.

Where does cargo data go?

Nowhere. The calculation runs on your computer, projects are stored as .cargo files wherever you saved them. Only the licence check reaches the server — a device identifier and a key.

What happens if the cargo does not fit?

The application spreads the shipment across several containers and lists whatever did not fit, with the reason. Rows are never lost silently.

Can a licence be moved to another computer?

Yes. The seat is released on the old device and taken on the new one. The number of concurrent devices is set when the licence is issued.

Is the program Russian-only?

The interface is translated into Russian, English, Chinese and Korean. The language is switched inside the application.
